'Massimo Osti's Legacy, C.P. Company and the Changing of Generations '
Dop/Edit
Massimo Osti changed fashion forever by treating clothing as a medium for research. His focus on fabric, function, and innovation created the language of modern Italian sportswear. This film captures how that philosophy continues to guide C.P. Company today. It documents a period of transition under Design Director Leonardo Fasolo and features insight from Lorenzo Osti, President of the company and son of Massimo. Together they reflect on how Osti’s ideas remain active within the brand’s design process, shaping how garments are designed, tested, and made. Filmed inside the Massimo Osti Archive in Bologna and the C.P. Company Research and Development Facility, Changing of Generations gives rare access to garments, prototypes, and experiments that have never been shown publicly. It records how past and present coexist within the same system of research that Osti founded and how that process continues to evolve through new generations.
